Principles

Four rules every Swasa venture is held to, regardless of what it does.

I.

Focus over sprawl

Each venture does one thing and does it well. The umbrella exists so the ventures never have to dilute themselves.

II.

Craft in the details

Typography, data, and design are treated with the same seriousness as the idea. If it carries the Swasa name, it's finished properly.

III.

Built to be used

Every product starts as something we needed ourselves. If we wouldn't use it weekly, it doesn't ship.

IV.

Independent, together

Ventures keep their own identity, domain, and voice — and inherit the trust the rest of the family has earned.

The first venture — an independent equity research library publishing long-form deep dives in a signature editorial format.

Swasa Travel joins the family

A personal travel planner grows out of years of planning family road trips — and becomes the second Swasa venture.

With two ventures live, the family gets a roof: one parent identity to carry the name, the standards, and the story.

Founder

Shiva Maheswaram

Shiva builds the Swasa ventures — researching, designing, and shipping each one himself. Swasa Capital grew from a habit of writing investment theses down before acting on them; Swasa Travel grew from planning family road trips with the same rigor.

The name itself carries the story: swasa means "breath" in our mother tongue, and the word is woven from three family names — the three strands of the mark, rising together as one breath.

Swasa Holdings is the roof over that work: one name, applied carefully, to things built to last.
